We are a family operation located in East Central Iowa, dedicated to breeding and training superior German Wirehair hunters!

Shellshockedkennels accepts cash, money orders, and credit cards through PayPal.  A deposit of $150 is required to HOLD a puppy (call to make arrangements to HOLD an adult).  Final payment PLUS flight prep (if applicable) must be made prior to delivery or pick up.

Your payment for puppies include:

  • AKC registration
  • 1st shots
  • De-worming
  • Tails cropped
  • Dew claws removed

If you are not satisfied with your puppy, Shellshockedkennels will honor a 60 day health guarantee (full refund or first pick of next litter for pups). 

Payments for adult dogs include AKC registration papers and shipment charges, as applicable. 

Flight prep charges include, portable kennel, dishes, vet check / health certification, which are required by the airlines to ship as cargo.

We can deliver pets to Cedar Rapids (CID) and Des Moines (DSM) airports for shipping on either United (DSM only) or Delta (CID) airlines.  Estimated flight cost for US deliveries are approximately $300.00 cash on delivery depending on your location.  An additional $75 overnight kennel charge will likely apply for connecting next day flights.  To obtain confirm details and make flight arrangement for shipping your pet as cargo, please contact the airlines:

*All puppies to be flown must be 8 weeks of age.   Airline temperature guidelines for shipping as cargo, is between 20 – 85 degrees farenheit.  Puppies to be picked up can be done at 8 weeks of age.
